The Bauer Supreme UltraSonic YTH Hockey Pants not only protect like the Pro’s, but they also look like the Pros. Young hockey stars can look like their favourite Bauer Pro like Elias Pettersson while receiving some of the best protection.

There are three main areas that young hockey players need good protection; hips, lower thighs, and tailbone. Each of these areas is most prone to being impacted in one way or another during a hockey game whether it be a deflected puck, accidental collision with another player, or simply losing balance and falling down. The new UltraSonic has our young guns covered with one of the best pants available on the market today.

External Materials
The Bauer Supreme UltraSonic youth pant features a heavy duty 4200 nylon shell with additional overlays in high wear areas for better durability. Bauer has also added stretch areas to the inner thigh and crotch which allow the legs to move more naturally without restriction.

Thigh Protection
The thigh guards in the UltraSonic pants consist of a multi-density foam with PE (polyethylene) inserts. These are anatomically formed and wrap nicely around the thigh to give a low profile look and feel. This allows the pads to move with the body and prevent the pants from rotating during contact.

Hip Protection
A classic fit one-piece guard in the hips offers great protection in what is usually a high contact area.

Spine Protection
The Bauer UltraSonic pants use an integrated spine protection piece with Vented Armour Foam. This is a protective and reliable material that keeps the lower spine protected from any unwanted contact.

Kidney Protection
The kidney region is protected by a one-piece molded multi-density foam and PE (polyethylene) insert. The padding hugs the body comfortably while still allowing a full range of motion.

Belt/Lace Closure
The belt on the UltraSonic pants is covered by MD foam which offers an additional layer of protection between the thigh and kidney pads. Bauer has also added a zippered extension feature which allows the player to add an additional 1” to the overall length. This feature is beneficial to the player who finds themselves in a possible growth spurt mid season, or in between sizes. Furthermore, the skate lace closure allows you to adjust the tightness of the pants to your liking.

Leg Zippers
The inner legs of the UltraSonic pants have a velcro closure for players that prefer a looser fit in the thighs. These also make it easier to put the pants on for those that choose to put their skates on before their pants when getting dressed - just don’t forget skate guards!
